Vigier”は、パトリス・ヴィジェが1980年に創業したフランスのエレキギター/ベースメーカーです。
ギタリストの抱える悩みを解消し、音楽に集中できる楽器を作り出すことを使命とし、伝統的なギター製作に敬意を表しつつ、それに現代的な要素を取り入れていくことによって、今日も革新し続けています。

Vigierのギターとベースは全て、フランスのグリニーにある自社工場でデザインされ、生産されています。
完璧にセットアップされたギターとベースをユーザーに届けるために、ハーモニクスやピックアップの高さ、弦高などが含む20以上の項目があるチェックリストを使った厳しいクオリティ・チェックが、1本1本に行われています。

最終的なチェックは、社長であるパトリス・ヴィジェ本人の手によって行われ、そのチェックに通ったものだけが、市場に送り出されるのです。

デザインが優先されプレイアビリティが置き去りにされているギターが多いなか、ヴィジェのボディ・デザインは、第一にプレイヤーがストレスなく演奏できるデザインを心がけています。
